To all that had been following my blog:
Short note to explain that I did not know that I had a brain aneurysm and on August 22, 2015 it ruptured.
I spent 2 weeks in ICU. Missed 30 days of work.
BUT through God's mercy and healing I am able to get back to my art and I am loving everyday more and more.
Ruby
What better thing than to leave the mundane world behind by getting lost in brushes and swirls!! Being CREATIVE is my passion. I love ART. My goal is to share my expressions thru mixed media. Art journaling, Artist Trading Cards (ATC), greeting cards and crafts are a few of my styles.

Canvas Painting of a Bird
Took a quick 3 weeks (9 days) class at the local collage BUT truthfully did NOT learn nothing new.
I was disappointed because I wanted to learn new techniques. All the teacher told us to do was to find a picture online and paint it onto the canvas with acrylic paints.
This is what I did.
This picture was a photograph of a bird. The background and quote were my ideas to put it all together.

Charcoal Drawing: Crayons
Took a quick 2 weeks (6 days) class at the local collage BUT truthfully did NOT learn nothing new.
I was disappointed because I wanted to learn new techniques. I did get to experiment with charcoal pencils which I had never done before.
All the teacher told us to do was to find a picture and sketch it using charcoal pencil.
I used tortillions which I had done before. This is what I did.
