Week Eighteen (Tribute to Prince and Purple)

Two ladies, "Sarah" and "Effy" will be posting a topic and those interested have to create something based on the prompts they post.

Northern Mockingbird - Wild About Texas

The Salado Village Voice newspaper has a column written by Mr Michael Price. In this column he focuses weekly on the natural world around us. His intent is to present information about the insects or animals. My intent is to research more information about the creature he chose and use watercolor and prismacolor pencils to illustrate it. 
Please note that I never use the image he has in the newspaper but I research my own and I add extra information that I read. Since the column stated, February 4th 2016, I have done and will try to do every column he posts for one year. 

My Lifebook (LB) APRIL 25th 2016

My Lifebook Project Creation for April 25th is called "Reframing your story"

This was a neat activity that required two pages in my art journal.  

1. Draw a girl - used washi tape to make her skirt and top.

2. Page behind her - draw her skeleton.

3. The patterns next to her skeleton is my journaling in different directions.

4. Page directly behind girl design the page into anything I wanted with some inspirational words.

His intent is to present information about the insects or animals. My intent is to research more information about the creature he chose and use watercolor and prismacolor pencils to illustrate it.
